Entry Level Proposal Writer (Part Time, Remote)
<p>SJS Executives, LLC (SJS) of Virginia Beach, an SBA-certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a <strong>part-time, remote</strong> technical writer to assist composition and formatting quotes and proposals that maximize the chances of the company winning contract work that is set aside for SDVOSBs.</p><p><strong>This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to build experience in technical writing while working in a flexible, part-time role. </strong>The ideal candidate is an excellent writer who enjoys researching new topics, has exceptional command of the English language, and can communicate technical information in a way that is easy to understand. </p><p><strong>Pay for this position is $20.00 per hour.</strong> The position is expected to average 10 hours per week, with a flexible work schedule designed to accommodate the employee's class commitments.</p><p>The federal quotes and proposals that SJS submits to the government are primarily small to moderate size, such that one writer can generate/edit the entire response without a bids and proposals team.
